About the Zegna Yaletown Grand Prix. The Zegna Yaletown Grand Prix is bringing an entirely new kind of running event to the streets of Vancouver this Canada Day. Racers will have the chance to compete in a multi-lap race in front of thousands of spectators on a closed, downtown course. The course is roughly 900 metres long and runs through the heart of Vancouver’s most vibrant downtown neighbourhood. It has 6 corners and includes a short uphill and a downhill into the start/finish straight. Elite racers in the men’s and women’s categories will compete in five-lap races for a total race length of approximately 4.5km. This race represents a unique opportunity for runners to compete in front of family and friends in a spectator-friendly, professionally run environment. Elite Races: Total Purse $2000 distributed as follows. 1st $400/2nd $200/ 3rd $150/ 4th $125/ 5th $75 / 6th $50 Equal prize money for Men and Women
Elite Women: 3:40pm (5 laps)
